JAPE BLOGSPOT GUIDELINES

JAPE and the authors contributing to this blogspot welcome feedback, both positive and negative, about individual articles and other issues relating to political economy. However, please ensure your comments are in line with the following guidelines. Repeatedly posting personal or offensive comments about authors, individual members of the public or members of the JAPE editorial collective may be considered harassment. We reserve the right to remove such messages and take action against those responsible.

  1. All topics for discussion must first be approved by the JAPE administrator. This policy is not intended to censor or limit discussion, but rather is a means to ensure that topics are deemed suitable for the JAPE website. The administrator shall have the final word over which topics shall be included on the site.
  2. The JAPE administrator reserves the right to remove comments which...

• Are racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable;

• Contain swear words or other language likely to offend;
• Break the law or condone or encourage unlawful activity. This includes breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court;
• Advertise products or services for profit or gain;
• Are seen to impersonate someone else;
• Contain links to other websites which break our guidelines;
• Describe or encourage activities which could endanger the safety or well-being of others;
• Are considered to be 'spam', that is posts containing the same, or similar, content posted multiple times;
• Are considered to be off-topic for the blog discussion;
